Disability Assessor Nurse
Description✓FLEXIBLE HOURS Disability Assessor Nurse for Personal Independence Payment [PIP]
✓Pay: £35,000/pa + benefits + bonus Nurses: RGN, RMN, RNLD

✓* Homebased : permanent, remote vacancy conducting telephone assessments or document review from own home with periodic attendance for meetings/training/f2f/ reduce isolation [equipment provided]
✓* Office-based: conducting face-to-face assessments at your local assessment centre
✓Disability Assessor Nurse Requirements:
✓* Valid NMC pin
✓* A minimum of 12 months' experience as a nurse
✓* Appropriate work space within the home setting that allows you to successfully complete your role
✓* No previous assessor experience required as full, paid training is provided
✓Disability Assessor Nurse role:
✓* Annual salary of £35,000 [basic] - £42,000 [OTE]
✓* Responsible for own scheduling, allowing for school drop off/pick up
✓* Core working hours: 10am - 3pm, options to work any day of the week
✓* Full training is supplied over an initial 20 week period, completed as a mixture of virtual/remote teaching and assessment centre-based training to ensure the right level of support and learning is offered.
✓* Conducting impartial, holistic medical assessments only and does not require you to make any decisions on claim outcomes
✓* Compiling a report, which is then dispatched for review and decision as to eligibility
✓* Flexible working hours are available after 6 weeks of training
✓* Full time, part time and compressed hours available
