✓This role will be a full-time permanent position, based at our customer site in Trumpington.
✓As an Enrichment Technician for Avantor, you will be responsible for supporting the Laboratory scientists by maintaining a high quality of cleanliness within the animal housing area, cleaning out cages, and replenishing the enrichment used to keep the animals stimulated.
✓This is quite a physical role, so we are looking for someone that does not mind working on their feet and lifting throughout the day.
✓Working hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am-4:00 pm
✓Primary Location: Cambridge Biomedical Campus

✓What we’re looking for
✓* Education: High school or equivalent
✓* Experience: Previous experience working in an Animal Research or Agriculture environment is highly desirable
✓* Experience of working in a laboratory environment and knowledge of SHE requirements in a laboratory is desirable but not essential
✓* Collaboration Tool: Good IT skills required [including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook]
✓Who you are
✓* You are a "go-getter" who enjoys manual work, with an interest in science
✓* You have a driving license and own a vehicle, or you already live in Cambridge and can easily commute into the city
✓* You have experience or are comfortable working in animal research environments

✓* Act as a Point of Contact for customers, actively engaging with them on a regular basis to understand their business requirements
