Executive Assistant

DescriptionA medical society in Bristol that has a genuine impact on global health are recruiting an Executive Assistant with the title Society Governance Officer to join their close-knit team.  This role would suit a project manager, executive assistant or personal assistant because it needs someone who's incredibly organised with great attention to detail. 
Someone from a university, healthcare or scientific background who has an appreciation of learned societies could also be a good fit, however a life science background is not required.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working from home.  They also offer comprehensive flexi-time.

Ability to communicate at all levels, with senior level academic and medical staff
Experience working with multiple external partners
You need to be personable and professional, a real people person
High level organisation and attention to detail

The role.
As the successful Society Governance Officer, you'll look after society trustees, committee meetings, equality & inclusion and governance.  You won't be hand-held so need to be happy working autonomously. 
You'll prep for meetings and take minutes, making sure everything runs smoothly and is followed-up on. 
You will liaise with the CEO, senior academics and clinicians, as well as internal and external partners and stakeholders, so you need to strike a good balance between being professional and personable.
