✓Salary: £35,000 to £38,500 OTE, Full and Part Time roles available.

✓Merco are recruiting candidates for an exciting opportunity to work permanently and directly on the DWP's Personal Independent Payment service, in partnership with Independent Assessment Services.
✓
✓The role will require you to use your broad-based medical experience and clinical knowledge to conduct paper-based reviews of claims, independent health assessments and write reports for the DWP
✓You will be using your critical reasoning skills and drawing upon your clinical experience, skills & knowledge to ensure that your part in the assessment process is positive, dignified, and professional.

✓All roles include a flexible self-led schedule following a 6-week working pattern based on your preferences, in agreement with your line manager
✓This role is predominantly home-based, with occasional [1 to 4 times per month] days required in your local assessment centre
✓

✓Once you apply, you will be contacted by one of our team of specialist recruiters who will advise and guide you through the online recruitment process that now includes exercises to give you a taster of what the job is really like.

✓Previous experience as a Disability Assessor is not required, as you will be fully trained to do the role, however Government legislation requires you to have at least one year of post-registration experience working with people aged 16 – 64 in one of the above Nursing or AHP disciplines.
