✓Location: - Runcorn
✓Type: 6-month fixed term contract
✓Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 [depending on experience]
✓Additional: 5% matched pension, life assurance [x4], company bonus [upto 5%], private medical, enhanced sick pay and income protection scheme
✓REPORTS TO: Technical Manager
✓Russell Taylor is working with a growing chemical company who are looking to appoint a Process Development Chemist who will also work on scale up activities

✓The Role:
✓To act as a process development chemist for projects as required in the R&D department
✓Devising and carrying out laboratory experiments for troubleshooting and process development for scale-up.
✓Advising on technical aspects for all relevant projects
✓Providing technical support for scale-up with manufacturing partners
✓Maintaining laboratory hygiene standards to comply with health and safety requirements.
✓Ensuring effective recording of all experimental and analytical work
✓Having a presence on collaborated partnerships for scale up activities and process development trials/ travelling to these partnered locations
✓The Person:
✓Will hold a BSc in Chemistry or similar.
✓Significant process & organic chemistry and/or scale up experience in a chemical setting.
✓Experience working to associated QMS within a chemical setting.
✓IT literate
