✓Quality Assurance Technician – Refresco, Nelson - Days, Monday to Friday
✓About the Role
✓You will report to the Quality Manager, and work as part of a well-regarded quality team of 4
✓You will support the quality improvement and right-first-time agenda so that products are legally manufactured and compliant with customer specifications.
✓As a Quality Assurance Technician at Refresco, your key areas of focus will be:
✓Participate in the internal audit schedule completing audits as necessary to demonstrate compliance with company, customer, and industry standards
✓Assist in the investigation of consumer complaints determining root cause and corrective action necessary to prevent reoccurrence
✓Where applicable take samples in accordance site quality plan ensuring the samples are analysed in a timely manner and results reported / escalated as appropriate
✓Complete traceability exercises to agreed plan
✓Assist in new starter and refresher training, verification of new equipment, packaging or process, ensure that internal and external customer expectations are reviewed and where considered valid are built into Refresco protocols
✓Complete all products, process and packaging trails required are to a satisfactory standard with clear objectives and measurable success criteria, ensuring the operations team are engaged

✓About You
✓You will need to have a Degree in a Science or Food Technology OR have a good knowledge and understanding of HACCP, Food Safety and BRC principle.
✓Experience in Quality Assurance gained in a fast-paced, lean environment such as FMCG/Manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
✓You will need to be IT literate - including using Databases, Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook,
✓To succeed in the role you will need:
✓Analytical and problem-solving skills
✓Excellent communication skills
✓Attention to detail and time management skills
✓Able to prioritise workloads and have a good sense of urgency

✓Working hours are Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week, and we have free, onsite parking
