Description✓Graduate Cyber Security Consultant - £34,000 - £38,000pa
✓People Source Consulting is a successful and growing defence and security consultancy that seeks passionate Cyber Security Graduates to join our team.
✓As a graduate, you will be part of our Cyber Security team, playing a critical role in addressing the real-world and complex challenges faced by our customers
✓You will work on fascinating and diverse projects for customers with the most challenging missions, applying cyber security expertise combined with deep expertise across a wide range of science, technology, and engineering
✓Our team comprises consultants, analysts, engineers, architects, crypto, and red teaming specialists, offering a diverse range of specialisms within cyber security
✓The responsibilities of the Cyber Security Graduates will vary over time and may include analysing and advising around the cyber risks for a new military capability, applying 'secure by design' principles to a complex systems, and developing an organization-wide approach to cyber security for a national customer
✓The positions will also involve engaging directly with customers, collaborating internally and externally to solve complex problems, delivering expert support to bidding and business development, providing technical leadership to project delivery, and mentoring colleagues
✓The person we are looking for will be:
✓Proactive - seek out information and are not deterred by setbacks
✓Engaging - able to discuss complex issues in simple language, elicit information from people and discuss issues at working to senior levels
✓Analytic - able to make sense of lots of disparate information and build up the big picture
✓Tech-savvy - understand and are interested in modern technology: cloud services, mobiles, unified communications [voice, video conferencing, instant messaging, presence], enterprise IT
✓Grounded in Cyber - good understanding of cyber security basics [we can top the basic understanding up]
✓Focussed on delivery - able to translate all of the above into deliverables and outcomes for the customer
