Design Engineer [Electromechanical]

Insignis Talent are working with a company that are going through a period of sustained, organic growth and as a result, they are seeking an Electro-Mechanical orientated Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis

Specializing in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines, you will join a dynamic Design Engineering team, working on products/systems for both a UK and International customer market.
General Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the technical specification and configuration activities for externally manufactured electro/mechanical products and systems.
Ensuring the on-time delivery and accurate quality of product documentation.
Providing support data for products and systems.
Liaising with suppliers effectively.
Supporting design validation and testing of relevant products and systems.
Offering technical knowledge to purchasing processes.
Maintaining compliance with all relevant data control requirements.
Developing your own knowledge base of product specification, integration, and support.
Familiarizing yourself with internal tools, processes, and systems.
Requirements:
A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering [preferred], or equivalent working experience.
Technical background in Electro/Mechanical Engineering.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external customers effectively.
Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to work tasks.
Fluency in both verbal and written English.
Knowledge of the Marine industry is desirable.
