✓To manufacture components as detailed within Land Systems Manufacturing route cards, work requests and verbal instructions in accordance with internal and external processes and procedures.
✓Your responsibilities will include:
✓Operation/setting of CNC and manual machine tools [brake presses, saws and laser cutters]
✓Operation of Pillar drills for various operations, including countersinking and counterboring
✓Operation of Guillotine, Corner Notcher, Fly press and manual tooling associated with a manufacturing environment [Training will be available to allow all staff to gain more skills within the department outside the requirements of this job profile]
✓Supervision of Apprentices / Trainees when requiredApply if you have most of the following:
✓Experience using Manufacturing tooling [CNC / Brake press an advantage]
✓Experience in Component Part Manufacturing / Assemblies within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
✓NVQ level 3 or equivalent or time-served apprentice
✓Good communication skills
✓Demonstrate high standards of quality at work
✓Ability to plan own work load and prioritise
