✓Introduction
✓We are looking for an Electronic Ship Controls Trainer to deliver high quality practical and theoretical training in Electronic Control systems on behalf of Defence College of Technical Training Electro-Mechanical Training Contract [DCTT EMTC] in line with company standards and contractual requirements at HMS Sultan.
✓Roles & Responsibilities
✓Reporting to the Electronic Ship Controls Trainer, you will be responsible for:
✓· To deliver training in Electrical & Electronic principles in accordance with the Training Plan and Sultan Training Standing Operating Procedures.
✓· Provide coaching and mentoring of trainees to best support their learning experience
✓· Ensure that lesson plans and training sessions are developed in accordance with the approved training documentation, is current and evolves to support equipment advances and technologies using most appropriate training aids.
✓· To assess student course work and provide feedback on performance
✓· To assist in maintaining and updating training documentation.
✓Skills & Qualifications
✓We are looking for someone with the following:
✓· Hold a Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
✓· Experience in the theoretical and practical application of Electrical/Electronic Principles, Power & Distribution, High Voltage / Low Voltage, Electrical Test Equipment, Electrical Maintenance
✓· Previous experience in the application of electrical soldering and crimping techniques on low voltage systems.
✓· Experience utilising Microsoft Office suite of facilities and to be computer literate.
✓· Knowledge in the application of Marine Electrical and Electronic theoretical and practical instruction
✓· Have completed or want to complete a DTC/DTTT Defence Train the Trainer Course
✓· Be able to acquire SC level clearance
