✓Clearance level: Ability to obtain or currently hold SC Clearance
✓Purpose of the role:
✓To ensure products delivered conforms to the drawing requirements by means of visual and measured inspection criteria.
✓Responsibilities
✓To ensure deliveries are inspected and receipted onto account in a timely manner.
✓Work with the Stores Department to turn around rework items efficiently using most expedient solution where possible.
✓Inspect goods to the correct standard MIL105d.
✓To raise Jira Incident reports on rejected goods for suppliers.
✓Assist in the return of rejected goods back from suppliers.
✓Participate in the Material Review Board process.
✓Carry out line side inspections and other quality related activities.
✓Identify and understand Certification from suppliers.
✓To understand and comply with Company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, ISO9001 and ISO14001
✓Experience/Knowledge
✓Relevant qualification in a quality engineering discipline or relevant experience.
✓To understand and read engineering drawings.
✓Confidence in speaking direct to customers internal & external/suppliers.
✓To produce reports from SAP when required.
✓Use of quality inspection equipment.
✓Knowledge of ISO9001 procedures
