Human Factors Engineer
Description✓ARM are recruiting for a Human Factors Engineer for a Contract or Permanent opportunity with a market leading Defence Client offering a Hybrid working model from Dorset.
✓As a Human Factors Engineer, you will be working on key defence project and be responsible for:
✓* Support Vigilant lead HFI specialist in the conduct of human factors activities and integration of HF into the design
✓* Work with end user groups and HF stakeholders in workshops, trials and User-Centered Design activities
✓* Conduct analyses such as persona development, task analysis and usability assessment
✓* Assess prototypes/mock-ups of hardware and software solutions
✓* Produce reports and input to customer deliverables.
✓Skills required:
✓* A recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Human Factors, Ergonomics or Psychology
✓* Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors [or eligibility for CIEHF Chartership via an equivalent body]
✓* At least five years' experience of applying Human Factors methods in defence or safety-critical industry
✓* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team on complex system integration and development projects
✓Due to the nature of the sector, you will need to hold current and active UK Security Clearance or at least be eligible to gain it.
