Description✓ILS / Supportability Engineer [Perm or contract]
✓This is an excellent opportunity, whether you are a graduate or experience ILS Engineer, to be part of a fast-growing UK group with a prodigious amount of Aerospace & Defence systems exposure
✓From design, to manufacturing, and through life support of new and current systems, with links to an international supply chain and customer base.
✓Backed by in-depth knowledge and experience of the integrated product support processes and requirements, our focus is on providing the Aerospace & Defence industry with comprehensive information and solutions, to enable ground services and engineers to conduct maintenance and repairs of critical systems and equipment, in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
✓Role & Responsibilities:
✓You will manage a busy workload and should be able to priorities different demands.
✓Provide ILS analysis for specific projects and products including but not limited to Reliability, Maintainability, Failure Modes, Maintenance analysis, repair, disposal and training, Generate obsolescence management plans, Functional Safety.
✓Communicate requirements and findings with the supporting technical publications teams
✓Product life cycle knowledge.
✓Estimate tasks with accuracy and work to schedules.
✓Working with international customers and equipment.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
✓Degree or Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
✓Graduates: Show a drive to learn and passion for the defence sector.
✓Experienced: Proven experience in an ILS position within the defence sector, using Joint Service Publications, DefStans and S-Series document stylesPackage and Benefits:
✓Perm: £28,000 [Graduate] - £70,000 [experienced] , Contract: £35 - £40p/h [Outside IR35]
