✓Introduction
✓Our client a large defence company are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer with experience working on Naval submarines to join there team in Bristol
✓As the Mechanical Engineer you will provide engineering support for in-service and future submarines contracts.
✓Roles & Responsibilities
✓Reporting to the Group Mechanical manager you will be responsible for:
✓Completing technical investigations and analysis to provide data for problem assessment/resolution and for design of improvements.
✓Providing mechanical engineering support for in-service and future submarines; assisting on contracts held with have with the MoD.
✓Assist with planning maintenance activities for Naval refit programmes.
✓Have a good understanding of mechanical equipment associated with Propulsion systems.
✓Provide technical knowledge on bids and tenders.
✓Skills & Qualifications
✓We are looking for someone with the following:
✓Minimum of degree qualification [ideally masters] in a relevant engineering discipline or have relevant domain engineering background.
✓Ideally you will be a member of a relevant institution [e.g
✓IMechE, IMarEst etc.] and hold Chartered or Incorporated status [or be working towards].
✓Have previous submarine knowledge and experience working with submarine systems is desirable but not essential.
✓Be eligible to obtain security clearance to SC level.

✓Salary of between £39,408 - £44,044 [DOE] + Benefits
