✓Opportunity for contract extension or made permanent
✓In IR35 £19.00 - £20.50/hour PAYE; up to £24.81 - £27.35/hour [Umbrella]

✓The UK's trusted Ministry of Defence partner, MBDA, are looking for a Mechanical Inspector to be part of the certification team to authorise the product in line with the product certification procedure based at the Bolton site.
✓What we're looking for:
✓Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship/TR23/TR21 or HNC.
✓Must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to work as part of a team to deliver the business.
✓Several years of experience as a skilled person.
✓IPC 610 certified / trained preferred

✓What you'll get to do as a Mechanical Inspector:
✓Examining for correct assembly and examining the finish of all parts to detect faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces etc.
✓Inspect for physical damage and intermediate inspection checks non product certification and maintain product certification and approval via regular audits
✓Monitor product certification operators and check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack and raise and maintain relevant data records/defect reports
✓Control defect items via segregation from good product
✓Produce relevant inspection/quality control documentation/history sheets and care for and use specialised inspection tools
✓Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
✓Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality
