Navigation and Timing Engineer
Description✓Responsibilities:
✓Reporting to the PNT Lead as a technical expert, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing mission system solution options, technologies and philosophies and documenting and presenting the various trade-offs in cost, capability and maturity to inform concept selection and subsequent intial design activities
✓This includes:
✓* Identifying Mission System requirements for the PNT System
✓* Work alongside Procurement, acting as the PNT Supplier Manager
✓* Collaborate with suppliers, partners and technology providers to determine candidate solutions
✓* Assist in defining models of the solutions and their different emergent properties
✓* Provide onsite PNT domain knowledge, acting as an PNT SME
✓* Presenting an objective assessment of the merits of different PNT solutions
✓* Ability to work with external partners and customers
✓Skills:
✓Some experience of working in an agile environment
✓DV Security clearance
✓A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience
✓Experience/knowledge of the Product Management lifecycle, including Design and development of EW Systems
✓A basic knowledge of the Agile process is desirable.
