✓Contract: Ongoing
✓Hours: 20 hours PW
✓Shift: 5 weeks - 2.30pm - 7pm
✓Hourly Rate: £13.37PH / 14.49PH

✓Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source professional Delivery Drivers to support with their busy operation

✓About the Parcel Delivery Driver role
✓You'll start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route
✓You will collect your allocated vehicle and your hand-held computer device [detailing your route and tracking your mail] and then deliver the mail and parcels to your local community
✓Shift lengths vary between 4 - 8 hours per day.
✓About You
✓The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team
✓You will be helpful and approachable displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round.
✓Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required you will need to be relatively fit and healthy.
✓You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.
✓Previous Experience
✓Some previous experience in a customer facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.
✓You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.
✓Driving licence requirements
✓A full UK manual driving licence [in your current UK address]
