✓C&I Engineer needed for a leading defence and security organisation with offices in the Bristol area who are looking to employ a number of experienced and well-rounded C&I Engineers that takes pride in their work
✓Positions are available from Senior to Principal level, with responsibilities & salary being subject to experience and expectations
✓As a C&I Engineer, you will be degree qualified within electrical engineering or equivalent experience
✓For Principal level we would expect Chartered Engineering status and previous line management experience ideally.
✓What the role of the C&I Engineer entails:
✓Some of the main duties of the Electrical Project Engineer will include:
✓Undertaking functional design, providing specialist advice and producing evidence in support of legislative, safety and technical requirements
✓Liaising with internal and external customers as part of a technical team
✓Undertaking peer reviews
✓Articulating and presenting technical arguments, clearly, logically, and simplyAs a Senior Engineer,
✓Coordinating and executing engineering tasks or packages of work, providing guidance and advice in a consistent professional manner.
✓Taking notice of appropriate budget, timescale and quality standards as well as providing leadership where requiredAs a Principal Engineer,
✓Executing, evaluating, delivering and managing complex engineering and/or cross functional tasks or programmes of work recognising stakeholder and customer requirements
✓Identifying as well as implementing opportunities for personal/team development to ensure that professional capability of the business and individual are maintained as well as improved
✓What experience you need to be the successful C&I Engineer:
✓A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering or, Mathematics [STEM] Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an Engineering background
✓Experience in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system verification test design or parts specification would be advantageous.Senior Engineer:
✓Demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle and technical specialities
✓Working towards relevant Professional RegistrationPrincipal Engineer:
✓Significant demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle phases and technical specialities
✓Having obtained or capable of obtaining relevant Professional Registration [CEng]
✓In order to be eligible for this role you will need to undergo Security Clearance Background Checks that require you to be a UK resident and UK passport holder.
