✓Job Description:
✓Co-ordinate and support major/ sensitive/level II investigations and intelligence gathering
✓Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire
✓Contract: 12 months fixed term contract
✓Work hours: Full time - Hybrid
✓Salary: £34,545

✓Main duties and responsibilities
✓* Assist with investigations in accordance with legislation and good practice, e.g
✓intelligence collection, preparation and support to the DS during any investigation or intelligence operation.
✓* Attend briefings to update the investigation and management team, identifying pertinent
✓* information and bringing this to the attention of the management team as appropriate, urgently if required.
✓* Prepare and update investigative and intelligence strategy documents for investigations.
✓* Collate intelligence to assist in providing a regionally accurate overview of ongoing investigations
✓Prepare written reports summarising lines of enquiry, intelligence and other complex issues.
✓* Identify emerging trends across the Force/region working in conjunction with the intelligence unit, and where appropriate, risk assesses the threat.
✓* Conduct necessary administration including creating and maintaining documentation in support of investigative and intelligence functions.
✓* Perform transcribing and log keeping duties when appropriate.
✓Essential
✓* Must possess the National Investigators Exam [NIE], IDP and Professionalising
✓* Investigations Programme [PIP] 2 and be Tier 3 advanced suspect and significant witness interview trained.
✓* Proven ability to carry out evidential and intelligence enquiries as part of a team.
✓* Proven ability to recognise sensitive information and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
✓* Self-motivated with flexible approach in terms of working times and able to cope with pressure, using initiative to solve problems.
✓* Proven ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
✓Articulate, methodical, conscientious and concise
