Supply Chain Lead
Description✓We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Lead for a 2-year Fixed-Term Contract.
✓This hybrid role will require the successful candidate to work on-site 2/3 days a week in Staffordshire with travel requirements to visit suppliers, so they must have a valid driving license.
✓We are looking for a candidate with a purchasing and procurement background, not a planning background.
✓As our Supply Chain Lead, you will be working on a critical project with an order book value of £30 million
✓Most of the suppliers for the project are already in place, and you will be responsible for ensuring delivery dates are met and managing the order book
✓Once you are more familiar with the role, you will also be involved with new supplier discussions.
✓You will be leading a team of 5 buyers and will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process
✓We are looking for a candidate with project management experience, as it would be beneficial to managing the complex supply chain.
