Trials Technician
Description✓This role is responsible for: ensuring allocated tests and trials are competed in a safe manner to the highest quality standards, to customer time and cost constraints; and, proactively driving a strong safety culture.
✓This includes [but not limited to]:
✓Ensure all equipment required for test and trials are maintained to a high standard and suitable for the task.
✓Use of lifting equipment including fork lift trucks.
✓Completion of equipment records.
✓Setting up, operation and breaking down of test arenas.
✓Providing test data to the Trials Engineer as part of a test report for the customer.
✓Continuous Improvement of the Ridsdale range test facilities and capabilities.
✓Ensure compliance with the requirements of SHE legislation and Business safe systems of work for self and others.
✓Carry out training as and when required.
✓Any other reasonable duties as required by the General Manager
✓Due to the nature of the work environment, the job holder is required to have the ability to provide innovative and practical solutions to complex issues; negotiate, establish and agree outcomes with others; make decisions in a dynamic way; have a positive 'can do' attitude; and, deliver continuous improvement.
✓Skills and qualifications:
✓Experience of working within a mechanical environment.
✓Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 desirable.
✓Use of SAP, Microsoft Office and Teamcenter are desirable.
✓Have a recognised Safety and Health Management qualification e.g
