Senior Accounts Assistant

ShuttersUp are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our growing team
Established in 2006, we provide beautiful bespoke plantation shutters for domestic homes across London and the South East.

Job Purpose:
* To enable ShuttersUp to have accurate, up to date financial information and add finance based analysis / insight wherever possible
* To complete all transactions through Xero on a daily / monthly basis and review balances to ensure accuracy
* To deliver the monthly accounts with commentary
* To maintain the current management reporting suite
* To be responsible to all internal / external customers relating to financial queries
* To ensure that you display the behaviours as stated within our Company Values in order to achieve the ShuttersUp Vision and Mission
Key Responsibilities:
* Posting sales and purchase ledger records
* Preparing payment runs
* Daily / weekly reporting for management
* Use of Xero / Insightly / Datbase to facilitate analysis / insight
* Monthly payroll and commissions processing
* Stock and receivables reporting
Key Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in an accounts role
* Accounting knowledge / qualifications such as AAT or equivalent
* Confident with using MS Excel
* Presentable with a warm, confident and polite demeanour
* Highly motivated to go above and beyond for our customers
* Flexible with a can do attitude
* Planning and organisation
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work in a well ordered and methodical manner
