Health Care Assistant
Description✓Triple E Healthcare provides care and support to several clients with multiple needs which can range from learning difficulties, elderly care, respite, emergency care, and end of life, depending on their clients cognitive function and mobility
✓As a Homecare Worker you will be required to support your client holistically to promote their well-being and ensure they have an excellent quality of life
✓Support may consist of companionship, administering medication, assistance with nutritional needs , shopping ,domestic duties as needed, monitoring client health conditions, adhere to clients individual care plans
✓Transporting the client to medical appointments and helping them run errands in the comfort of their own homes
✓All progress notes need to be updated and any concerns to be reported to the manager.
✓Main aims of the job
✓* To be part of the nursing team, whose aims are to ensure that service users nursing, personal and psychological needs are met on a daily basis.
✓* To help promote as much personal and physical independence.
✓* To empower and promote choices in the activities of daily living undertaken by the service users in their own home.
✓Key Responsibilities
✓To assist in the direct care provision of all aspects of the service users assessed needs, which may include:
✓* To assist service users in washing, dressing, and undressing.
✓* To provide basic nursing care for the service user staff e.g., bed bathing, pressure area, mouth care, and eye care.
✓* To assist the service users with their toileting needs, including continence promotion.
✓* To assist with mobility, including those of mobility aids, where appropriate.
✓General
✓* To attend and participate in staff meetings and attend all mandatory training when required.
✓* To attend supervision and appraisals ensuring that you have prepared for these when required.
✓* To attend any other training when a need has been identified.
✓* To communicate effectively with other staff, relatives and professional agencies regarding service users .
✓* To be familiar with all current policies and procedures and understand your duty to comply and implement them when necessary Show more →
