HR Administrator
Description✓Do you have experience working as a Human Resources Administrator?
✓We are currently seeking a HR Administrator to work closely with the HR Manager helping to deal with absences, payroll and general day to day administrative duties.
✓What does the role involve?
✓* Supporting the HR Manager to advise People Leaders / Managers about HR issues, in accordance with employment law, best practice, policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment where appropriate.
✓* Ensure compliance with the Equal Opportunities Policy at all times.
✓* Coordinate and support the recruitment process and advise and support managers to ensure the company employs the most suitably qualified individuals.
✓* Ensure all Associates are booked onto a new starter induction.
✓* Support the HR Manager in co-ordinating Leadership site training and development activities, in accordance with training and development requirements.
✓* Ensure Company Attendance Management Policy is adhered to and applied consistently across the site
✓Advise managers on absence issues, ensuring long-term corrective solutions.
✓* Support the HR Manager in ensuring HR policies, procedures and site rules are communicated appropriately; ensuring key information is passed on in an effective manner.
✓* Coordinate the utilisation of the Occupational Health service.
✓* Responsible for the maintenance of computerised HR systems ensuring their application contributes to the development of the site.
✓* Ensure that HR information is kept up to date, and in accordance with Data Protection Legislation.
✓What are we looking for?
✓* Excellent IT skills, mail merging, great knowledge of the Microsoft office suite, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
✓* Able to communicate clearly with both managers and workers alike with tact and diplomacy
✓* Have knowledge of GDPR [General Data Protection Regulation]
✓* Able to understand the diverse nature of the business
✓* Experience of a manufacturing organisation and its supporting disciplines [desirable]
✓What else do I need to know?
✓* The salary will be between £12 and £14 per hour
✓* The hours of work will be 8am - 4:30 Monday - Friday
✓* Paid break
✓* Subsidised canteen
✓* Uniform
✓* Enhanced holiday past 12 weeks of 34 days
