Are you a level entry HR administrator or university Graduate looking to start your career in HR? is so… We have an exciting new temp to perm opportunity Assisting the Head of HR to deliver a comprehensive HR Service to an independent company by providing an effective HR administration service throughout the employee lifecycle.
Main Duties:
To carry out the administration process for new starters including the updating of records on the company database and ensuring that the data is input into the payroll system
This will include the placing of recruitment adverts, the scheduling of interviews and liaison with new starters prior to the commencement of their employment.
To administer and book training for staff ensuing that up-to-date records are maintained and develop an annual programme of mandatory compliance training.
To ensure that resignation letters are acknowledged in a timely manner, the line manager is made aware of the process and any outstanding annual leave is calculated in accordance with the employee's terms and conditions of employment.
Work with the Finance Manager to create the annual salary sheets for all members of staff.
To support the Finance Manager with the annual audit in relation to payroll.
To carry out general administration for the HR Department including drafting standard letters, arranging meetings, collating, and circulating papers and following up action points as required.
To develop and maintain appropriate systems and procedures as appropriate.
To assist the Head of HR in developing and implementing new projects providing administrative support where required
Requirements:
An excellent level of computer knowledge - Word, Excel and database experience is essential.
Basic understanding of employment law
Basic understanding of Data Protection
Experience of HR processes and administering the employee lifecycle.
Experience of maintaining employee records
Ability to meet deadlines
