It's an exciting time to join our team and we are keen to recruit a HR Advisor [Graduate Trainee] to learn to provide professional and operationally focused HR and training support to the business.
This role would suit a recent graduate that is looking for their first role
No previous HR experience is required, but you will need to be a team player and passionate about working with people

Job responsibilities
In this busy role, you will:
Support with the recruitment and onboarding of new starters, including advertising roles, shortlisting and interviewing candidates, job offers, induction and probation periods.
Work with the Senior HR Advisor to support managers with disciplinary, capability and grievance investigation and hearings
Take meeting notes and draft invite and outcome letters.
Carry out exit interviews with leavers and feedback issues and ideas as required.
Provide guidance and support to employees and line managers in relation to maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
Provide support and guidance to managers on training and appraisals.
Work with the wider HR team to source cost effective training for the company, and ensure training is evaluated to effectively measure return on investment.
Draft training agreements and work with the Senior HR Advisor to utilise the apprenticeship levy where possible.
Work with the Senior HR Advisor to support managers with staff absences including short-term, long-term absences, and engage with occupational health where necessary.
Work with the wider HR team to regularly report on absence information, identifying trends and ways to limit absenteeism.
Work with the wider HR to deliver a company wellbeing programme
Skills required
Relevant degree, with a keen interest in HR and a desire to develop in a people focused role.
Highly organised with an attention to detail.
Creative problem solver with the ability to multitask in a changing environment.
Strong analytical skills.
Able to negotiate and influence.
Trustworthy, works with integrity.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Able to balance being well-liked with making or supporting difficult decisions
