HR Advisor - Regional

DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor - Regional to work within the HR Department
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner
The HR Advisor will provide first-line advice and support on all people-related issues to our UK Operational business whilst remaining consistent with our internal policies and procedures and current legislation
Dealing with staff welfare and administration-centred activities and strategy planning to support the Senior HR Business Partners.
Responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting HR data, generating reports and providing insights to support data-driven decision-making for the organisation to improve workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee retention, and other HR initiatives.
This role will be regional covering the North, Midlands and South West depending on workload on an adhoc basis.

Responsibilities include:
Supporting line managers across the full scope of all Employee Relations [ER] cases, which will include; Misconduct, Disciplinaries, Grievances, Capability and Performance issues.
Monitoring absence and supporting managers to take the appropriate action.
Support with training/coaching to managers.
Assisting managers in the interpretation of policies and procedures.
Responding and resolving enquiries within contractual SLAs.
Making informed decisions that take into account the facts, goals, and risks to the business.
Helping to deliver HR projects
Support in drafting documentation/contract letters in line with company policies and procedures.
Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
Liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety
Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits
Maintaining employee records
Working with the Senior HRBP to support the HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term requirements
The ideal candidate will have/be:
CIPD qualification desirable
HR/Employee Relations experience
HRIS Systems reporting experience with demonstrable experience in extracting and analysing data
Knowledge of data protection legislation and GDPR
Strong MS Office skills including Excel for Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, Word, and PowerPoint
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters displaying excellent judgement.
Excellent knowledge of employment law
