HR Advisor
Description✓A busy HR department based between Southampton and Portsmouth are currently working with CMA HR team to recruit a HR Advisor on an initial 6 month contract.
✓The current HR Manager would like to appoint an experienced Advisor to assist them with the daily running of the department alongside additional projects that need addressing with a view this role will hopefully be a long-term position in the team.
✓What will HR Advisor role involve?
✓To build effective working relationships with employees of all levels, providing advice and guidance on HR policy and practice
✓Take responsibility for the management of employee relations caseload, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance
✓Guiding and advising the business around the recruitment and selection of candidates, advertising roles and shortlisting
✓Co-ordinating the on-boarding and induction process
✓Work alongside HR colleagues to review and draft policies and procedures
✓Using the HR system prepare key HR data/metrics, highlighting themes and trends
✓Identify development needs and working with managers support the co-ordination and implementation of training plans
✓Suitable Candidate for HR Advisor vacancy:
✓Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role where you have managed your own caseload
✓Ideally CIPD Level 3 or above
✓Strong influencing and relationship management skills, able to quickly build rapport with excellent people skills
