HR Advisor

✓As a result we now have a brand new vacancy to join our HR team as a HR Advisor.
✓The main purpose of this role is to provide a client focused, comprehensive and professional people service to colleagues and managers by maintaining and developing processes, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and legal requirements.
✓This is a generalist HR role with lots of exposure and opportunity to explore multiple areas of HR.
✓You must be able to work as a key member of a small Team
✓As an overview, duties will include:
✓*
✓Provide practical advice and direction for line managers so that they implement people practices in compliance with CPC Group policy and statutory employment legislation as well as providing a positive, consistent employment experience
✓*
✓Provide an advisory service to colleagues ensuring they are fully aware of their contractual terms and conditions and CPC’s Group policies
✓*
✓Promote colleague engagement and positive mind-set agenda
✓*
✓Advise and provide support to managers to ensure the correct procedures are followed when carrying out grievance / disciplinary / performance improvement investigations, hearings and attendance management
✓*
✓Act on relevant HR KPI information in a timely manner itemising trends and generating it in a format that is readily available for managers to review e.g
✓sickness absence data
✓*
✓Administer and maintain accurate information within the HR system
✓*
✓Support the delivery of people plans and HR KPI targets
✓Knowledge and experience:
✓*
✓Part CIPD qualified or working towards HR qualification or equivalent experience
✓*
✓Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing business
✓*
✓Working knowledge of computer systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR systems
✓*
✓Experience working within a generalist Human Resources function
✓*
✓Working knowledge of employment legislation
✓*
✓Experience working with diverse teams
