✓Our client is a resident led housing association
✓They are looking for a HR Advisor to join their team based in Braintree
✓Key Responsibilities
✓You will develop a clear understanding of the company's corporate strategies, services to its customers, its people and financial environment, underpinned by its values
✓You will support and work collaboratively with colleagues on transformation and change initiatives, embedding outcomes and providing ongoing advice and guidance
✓To support Payroll changes and ensure that all staff are paid correctly and on time, each month
✓To provide advice, guidance, and support in respect of all HR related activity, ensuring the promotion of good practice and compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and UK employment legislation
✓To support and advise line managers with employee relation matters and ensure that more serious concerns are raised with the appropriate People Team colleagues
✓To manage and administer employee relation case work, except where complex, seeking support as necessary and share knowledge to ensure consistency of approach and resolution
✓To support the HR Business Partners with complex employee relation casework up to and including support for employment tribunals
✓To support the HR Business Partners in all people related coaching and development activities for line managers
✓To support the HR Business Partners in all people related change initiatives including TUPE transfers
✓Requirements
✓CIPD level 3 or above or relevant experience
✓GCSE Level C or above in English language and Mathematics [or equivalent]
✓Proven experience of working successfully in a HR advisory or HR generalist role with exposure to HR systems and databases
✓Proven experience of managing and administering a full range of employee relation case work, managing risk, and working collaboratively with managers to resolve their people issues
✓Knowledge of HR systems and databases, including data collation and validation for payroll
✓Proven experience of dealing with staff question relating to all payroll changes
✓Proven experience of supporting and coaching managers to develop and improve their people skills
