✓TeacherActive are a well-established education recruitment agency, and we are looking for a HR Advisor to join our busy and hard-working team in Birmingham, due to considerable growth.
✓The role of a HR Advisor:
✓First point of contact regarding HR queries
✓Build relationships with colleagues across the business
✓Supporting employee relations including performance reviews, probation meetings, absence, disciplinaries, mediation and grievances
✓Advising managers on best practise
✓Reviewing policies and procedures, contracts and handbooks
✓Monitor HR processes and identify areas for improvement
✓Assist in the development of plans to ensure HR processes and procedures are delivered
✓Lead own case work
✓This is by no means a complete list; you need to be adaptable as no two days are the same
✓The recruitment industry is exciting, fast-paced and requires somebody with a lot of resilience, enthusiasm and energy.
✓Key Skills Required:
✓Previous HR Advisor experience [5 years]
✓CIPD level 3 or 5
✓Driven and motivated
✓Ability to work in a fast paced environment
✓Working Hours:
✓08:30am–5:00pm Monday – Friday
✓Reduced hours during school holiday [usually 08:30am – 4:00pm or 9:00 - 4:30pm]
✓Office based, 20 days per year work from home allowance on passing probation
