HR Assistant

DescriptionFirst People Solutions have been tasked with the search and selection of a HR Assistant to be based our clients office in Glasgow
We are looking for a HR assistant to perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the current HR department
Duties will include:
Supporting internal and external enquiries and requests related to the HR department
Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, assisting with interviews and issuing employee contracts
Processing payroll and assisting with documentation for employee salaries and benefits packages
Supporting HR related training programs, workshops and seminars
Entering employee data into company database
Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
Writing and submitting reports on general HR activitiesRequirements:
3+ years in related position
Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices
Knowledge of employment law and HR responsibilities
Full understanding of payroll practices
Knowledge of computer applications and HR specific software [Google, Moorepay etc]
