Description✓HR Assistant
✓Part-time, 6 month temporary contract, could be extended
✓Bedford

✓Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 3 full days per week – 1 in the office, 2 at home.
✓Salary: £15 per hour
✓Duties including, but not limited to:
✓Arrange Occupational Health appointments and Create Occupational Health referrals.
✓Creating, updating and amending HR policies.
✓Write and send employees all outcome letters related to Occupational Health referrals.
✓Promote and support site social activities and wellbeing initiatives to employees.
✓Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR] activities and fundraising.
✓Review and update policies and template documents as required.
✓Research and arrange training and maintain a training record.
✓Assist in updating company database as required.
✓Assist HR Manager and HR Officer in coordinating interviews during recruitment activities.
✓Provide backup support for general Human Resources programs processes.
✓Updating HR policies
✓Keeping GDPR policies and records up to date
✓The person:
✓CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
✓Previous experience of working in a Generalist HR environment.
✓Experience of working for a Manufacturing business desirable.
✓Knowledge of HR best practice and employment law.
✓Knowledge of creating, updating and amending HR policies.
✓Working knowledge of GDPR requirements and practices.
✓Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improving procedures and working practices.
