HR Manager

✓Simple Recruitment are delighted to be working with a longstanding client, based in Wells, who are looking for a HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
✓So who are we looking for?
✓You will be an experienced standalone HR professional, holding CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
✓You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and will be able to work effectively to support and manage priorities among internal stakeholders
✓Importantly, you will be able to work to a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality, with a flexible and empathetic approach to meet employee’s needs.

✓Key responsibilities:
✓* Developing and maintaining HR policies, processes and procedures
✓* Recruiting and on-boarding new starters
✓* Carrying out performance reviews
✓* Employee relations
✓* Gathering data to evaluate salary reviews and benefit packages
✓* Maintaining and updating employee records
✓* Ensuring compliance across all HR activities
✓* Ensuring up-to-date knowledge is maintained of UK employment law
✓* Ensuring monthly payroll information is collected and provided to the payroll team for processing
✓* This role is based in Wells, with regular travel to offices in Street and Somerton
✓Salary:
✓£40 to £47,700 per annum [dependant on experience]
✓Hours:
✓Full time, 35 hours per week
✓Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm [one hour’s lunch break].
