We have an exciting opportunity to join as a Learning and Development Manager.
We operate over 200 buses from two depots in Greater Manchester, connecting towns and cities across the region
We are part of a wider group that employs over 1,300 people and carries over 50m passengers a year, so there is huge potential to build a career here.
We are looking for experienced Learning and Development professionals, who are either working towards or already having a CIPD qualification and that are great communicators
In return, we are paying a competitive salary that will vary depending on experience.
As the Learning and Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying training and development needs within the business, you will work closely with Depot operation teams to ensure the successful delivery of the Rotala Bus Driver Training School.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on the successful delivery of the Driver training school
Manage the team of Training Instructors
Lead on any trainee issues, up and including dismissals for poor performance / concerns whilst in the training school
Key point of contact for training and development for Transport for Greater Manchester [TfGM]
Maintain the Annual Training Plan
Support the Group Head of HR / wider Operations Team on mobilisation of the smaller franchises and future bids.
Evaluate individual and organisational development needs from performance reviews
