People Partner

DescriptionWe are excited to be working with a fantastic company who are within the entertainment industry looking for a People Partner to join their business
This will involve providing operational and strategic support, and implementing the People strategy to align with the business objectives.
Duties will include:
* Supporting the team when managing new projects to deliver the people strategy and implementing strategic objectives
* Developing and supporting the implementation of policies and processes
* Providing strong business partnering advice and support, collaborating with managers to ensure they are confident with policies and procedures.
* Leading on employee relation issues, providing HR advice and guidance on performance management, sickness and absences as well as disciplinaries and grievances.
* Establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and liaising with external service providers to implement changes in benefits etc
* Ensuring recruitment process is managed effectively while supporting managers and retaining employees
Identifying hiring needs and supporting in job descriptions and process from start to finish.
* Encourage and support the development of high performing teams
* Responsible for ensuring that employee records are up to date
* Working with L&D Manager to identify employee training
* Ensuring leavers receive full support from line managers
Key skills:
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Strong communication skills
* Charity/not for profit sector experience ideal
