Our client is a dynamic business and they are now looking to add to their friendly HR team
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will provide HR support to your designated business area, working closely with the HR Business Partners to implement the people agenda and address all associated people matters in accordance with best practice methodology, internal compliance and legal requirements.
You will be the first point of contact for line managers and employees and be involved in all areas of HR, conducting activities in areas such as employee relations [disciplinaries and grievances], absence management, talent/performance management, recruitment and supporting change initiatives
You will have responsibility for building and developing relationships with your stakeholders and acting as a champion for the HR team

Responsibilities will include;-
Working closely with your designated business areas to establish yourself as the first point of contact for line managers and employees for all HR related issues.
Providing generalist HR advice and supporting investigations including grievance and disciplinary, performance review process and absence management.
Supporting the recruitment process by ensuring the appropriate documentation has been completed [approval process], interviewing candidates and advising line managers on recruitment and selection strategies.
Establish and develop a positive customer-focused relationship with the managers within the designated business area, supporting the HR Business Partners in the identification and delivery of service priorities and initiatives.
Assist with the continuous review, development, documentation and communication of HR policies and processes, ensuring any legislative updates are acted upon with the relevant stakeholders .
Driving business performance by contributing ideas to enable continuous improvement and best practice in all areas of HR.
Supporting ad-hoc projects and tasks both within HR and across the organisation.Professional Experience Needed
Experience of working in a multi-site manufacturing organisation is advantageous in a HR generalist capacity.
Have an excellent working knowledge of up-to-date employment legislation, best practice and case law.
Experience of giving advice on attendance management, grievances, performance management and conduct.Additional Skills and Requirements
Strong communication and collaboration skills, whilst being able to challenge and develop managers.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Proficient user of MS Office [Excel and Word].
Able and willing to travel within the UK.
Driving license required.
Flexible approach to working hours necessary
