UKVI Compliance Officer

DescriptionSt Mary’s University is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated UKVI Compliance Officer to join the Institute of Education by providing high level support to Senior Staff, colleagues, and students on a full-time, permanent basis. Due to the requirement to support students directly, the role is campus based in London with some flexibility for home-working. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,046 per annum.

The UKVI Compliance Officer role:
As our UKVI Compliance Officer, you will support the UKVI Compliance and Immigration Manager in the implementation of St Mary’s ambitious international growth strategy by ensuring business-critical compliance with all aspects of UK Visas and Immigration.
This role would suit somebody with prior experience with UKVI compliance responsibilities and providing accurate immigration advice.
Key responsibilites as our UKVI Compliance Officer:
- Being the first point of contact for all international student enquiries via telephone, the Studentvisas email noticeboard, drop ins and appointments for all immigration related matters
- Student visa monitoring and attendance activities
- Monitoring and updating all information relating to immigration advice via the external and internal online platforms
- Deputising for other staff in the team as may be required from time to time
- Assisting with other Registry Services work as required
- Working closely with the Global Engagement team
