✓Job Role
✓Coordinate a programme of HRA/GF Asset disposals
✓This will involve close working with other departments, drafting IT property amendment forms, NPV assessments, document filing, initial drafting of disposal reports, key management ordering valuations, lease plans & EPCs, raising POs and updating records.
✓Main Responsibilities
✓Management of the acquisition and Disposal Programmes
✓* Full and well documented files for each acquisition and disposal.
✓* Up to date Monitoring sheets for all acquisition and disposal programmes.
✓* Great collaborative relationships with all other WCC departments and teams
✓Particular involvement with Finance, Voids team, IT, Asset Client team, Affordable Housing, Development, Lessee Services, Legal, repairs, M&E, PPM and Major works, WCC Housing Contractors.
✓* Management and creation of project documents including disposal reports, Orchard updates, Keystone updates, legal instruction, acquisition approval reports, disposal approval reports, handover files, etc.
✓* Continuously improve disposal and acquisition processes.
✓* Monitor other acquisition programmes, new builds and disposals [freeholds and RTBs]
✓Particular focus on HRA
✓* Occasional site visits and contractor liaison.
✓General Responsibilities
✓* Ensure effective communication and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally.
✓* Work collaboratively with staff within and outside the company to ensure the delivery of an effective acquisition and disposal programmes
✓Represent WCC Housing at meetings with residents and external organisations as appropriate.
✓* Comply with all Health and Safety requirements and demonstrate a continuous commitment to good safe working practices.
✓* Comply with the Equalities Framework policy, supporting good working practice and fair opportunities for all staff, and understanding of the benefits of equality and diversity.
