✓Responsibilities
✓* Learn and assist experienced electricians in various electrical tasks, including installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential properties.
✓* Support the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
✓* Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues, identifying faults, and proposing appropriate solutions.
✓* Learn to test electrical systems and equipment using appropriate tools and instruments to ensure proper functioning.
✓* Assist with installing and maintaining electrical panels, meters, and distribution boards.
✓* Comply with electrical codes and safety regulations, following safe work practices to protect yourself and others.
✓* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
✓* Undertake training and development activities as part of the apprenticeship program, enhancing your knowledge and skills in electrical systems and industry standards.
✓Requirements
✓* Strong interest in electrical systems and a desire to pursue a career as an electrician.
✓* Good manual dexterity and ability to work with tools and equipment.
✓* Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
✓* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
✓* Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with colleagues and residents.
✓* A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
