Development Surveyor - Senior up to Director
Description✓We are partnered with a successful planning and development consultancy to help grow their team in due to an increased workload
✓The business has a number of offices nationally, but still maintains that family and close-knit feel
✓They have an excellent track record with both private and public sector clients across all disciplines and has gone from strength to strength through the last few years
✓The company works with private developers, housebuilders, RPs and local authorities working on: viability advice, advising on s106/CIL obligations, feasibility studies, market analysis and the general development and regeneration consultancy.
✓This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and lean team working on challenging projects, working closely with intelligent junior colleagues as well as industry-leading Associates and Partners, who are hands on and involved in every project
✓They are a small and friendly team of professionals with an enviable and proven track record of supporting and developing their staff into senior property professionals with strong reputations.
✓Your responsibilities will include:
✓* Working on development/regeneration projects across residential, retail, office and industrial property classes and at every stage from initial strategy formulation, master planning and feasibility studies through to funding and delivery
✓* Undertaking development appraisals and financial modelling
✓* Providing valuations advice
✓* Preparing business cases
✓* Preparing fee proposals and tenders
✓* Assisting with transactions and agency work
✓* Liaising with clients and other consultants, such as planners and architects
✓Ideally you will:
✓* Be MRICS or equivalent
✓* Have at least four years industry experience, in consultancy, client side or in a local authority
✓* Have experience within viability and development, or valuations as a background
✓* Be adept at using Argus and Excel
✓* Strong property understanding across the wider sector including planning
✓* Be an excellent communicator with good technical and writing skills
