Electrician
Description✓We are working with a leading contractor that are looking to employ a number of experienced electricians to work on domestic properties managed by a well-established housing association
✓Although the association has stock across the country, these roles are purely for properties within the North and West London area
✓This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of social housing, making a positive impact in the community.
✓Responsibilities:
✓Conduct electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance work in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
✓Inspect electrical systems, identify faults, and troubleshoot issues to determine appropriate solutions.
✓Perform electrical upgrades and improvements to meet the housing association's requirements.
✓Collaborate with the contractor's team, including other tradespeople and project managers, to ensure successful project completion.
✓Adhere to project plans and specifications, completing tasks within established timelines.
✓Keep accurate records of work carried out, materials used, and hours worked.
✓Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, prioritising electrical safety in all tasks.
✓Respond promptly and professionally to repair requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
✓Provide advice and guidance to residents regarding electrical maintenance and safety.
✓Requirements:
✓Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably within a similar environment such as social housing or property maintenance.
✓Possess relevant electrical qualifications, such as a valid electrical license or certification.
✓In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
✓Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues effectively.
✓Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
✓Good interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the contractor's team and housing association residents.
✓Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
