Environmental Services Supervisor
Description✓We are recruiting for a permanent Environmental Services Supervisor to work for a housing association based in East London
✓This position is hybrid working and is paying up to £36,225 per annum [based on 35hrs per week].
✓The role:
✓We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Environmental Services Supervisor in London.
✓Salary: £31,050 to £36,225 with a vehicle provided for work use
✓Location: A mix of office based and on site work in the E14 area, London
✓Working hours: 35 hours per week, with flexibility needed
✓Your responsibilities will include:
✓Leading a team of approximately 20 cleaning and caretaker operatives
✓Meeting with your team at the start of the day, organising work for the day and checking they have all the tools and equipment they need
✓Performance managing your team, using one to ones and coaching so that they are the very best that they can be
✓Carrying our mandatory training
✓Manage HR tasks for your team, including absences, holiday etc.
✓Monitor the CRM queue, taking ownership of cases relevant to your patch and proactively working on issues raised
✓Be present on site, checking on standards, dealing with issues on site and supporting your team
✓Effectively manage and oversee supplies of equipment and services
✓Ensure that demonstrable value for money is central to all areas of service delivery.

✓Have a successful track record managing and leading operatives
✓Have grounds maintenance, amenity horticulture and caretaking/concierge knowledge and experience
✓Have an excellent understanding of health & safety relating to estates management [including fire safety, site safety, working at heights]
