Marketing Director

DescriptionPurpose of role: 
The role is accountable for delivering a Marketing strategy which increases revenue, driving footfall, engage visitors and shoppers, supporting existing and attracting new customers, establishing partnerships for media reach and optimising our always on consumer and business targeted media
This role is to support our London and Regional destinations.
Main Accountabilities:
Accountable for the development, optimising and delivery of the Marketing strategy for the London and Regional strategic business units which drive sales, footfall and reduce voids.
Partner with the Leasing commercial, Property Asset and Placemaking teams to create engaging campaigns and activations to drive sales revenue and footfall
Optimise four key campaigns each year [Easter, Summer, Back to school and Christmas] creating a compelling creative asset toolkit to be deployed across multiple destinations
Manage and optimise a UK and International media budget with targeting appropriate to messaging and destination
Evaluate effectiveness of all B2C and B2B media channels across web, social, trade press, events, partnerships, void vinyl’s, brochures – establish KPI’s and undertake A/B testing of creative assets and media channels to demonstrate effectiveness
Tactically support new customers and partner with the commercial leasing team to attract lifestyle and workplace customers
Bring new developments to life with events and media partnerships
Create and manage pop ups in void units to maximise revenue and footfall into the assets
Work with the corporate brand team to agree brand narrative to be woven into campaigns
Work with the internal community team to identify charitable partners to support in campaigns and identify opportunities to grow the partnerships which support our strategic ambitions e.g diversity, equity and inclusion.
Knowledge, experience and skills: 
Experience in Customer Experience, Brand strategy, planning and management, with extensive experience in a large, matrixed organisation 
Creative and strategic thinker, skilled in developing campaigns to position ideas and build engagement with a wide range of stakeholders. 
Good understanding of business strategy and how it relates to digital, marketing and CX transformation 
Demonstrated skills and experience in the following disciplines: customer insights, business strategy, technology trends 
Comfortable with all forms of customer insights, including quantitative and qualitative research and other customer signals from search, digital, and social data 
Track record of delivering cross-functional projects on time and within budget with the highest level of quality and controllership 
Stakeholder & relationship management skills, including the ability to create and facilitate workshops. 
Ability to create high quality presentations and articulation of key findings 
Experience of engaging team members and peers to drive clearly defined programs of work with defined measures of success, ability to influence without direct control 
Excellent communication skills, experienced at presenting and influencing at a senior level in an organisation.
