Our client is a reputable credit broker and financial advisor based in Doncaster.
Job Purpose:
We are currently recruiting a Mortgage Advisor to undertake a contract commencing May 2023.
Primary Role:
Deliver mortgage advice for clients who have applied online for a mortgage application
Service these clients from point of sale through to completion with the support of in-house case management and protection teams.
General Responsibilities:
* Read credit reports and fully understand customer credit profiles.
* Provide high quality professional independent mortgage advice and explain different types of mortgages available.
* To be responsible for all underwriting queries, resolution of issues and produce decisions in principles for new cases prior to be passed over to the case management team.
* Underwrite Mortgage applications for a large panel of lenders.
* Manage pipelines and workflows in a fast-paced mortgage environment, ensuring all customers are kept fully up to date.
* Meet all departmental SLAs and targets.
* Ensure all regulatory documentation completed within the required timescale.
* Work within Network regulatory requirements
* To maintain knowledge of the financial services industry.
* Keep up to date with new mortgage products and changes in lenders criteria.
* To be proactive, hardworking, flexible and able to work under own initiative but also a team player.
* Embrace company values and promote them effectively alongside the Believe brand.
* Understand what Treating Customers Fairly [TCF] means and embed this fully within your work.
* Attend internal or external meetings as required.
Candidate Requirements:
* CeMAP 1, 2 & 3.
Working hours & shift patterns:
5 day working week, typically 40 hours per week.

* Salary: £26,000 Annually whilst on probation - £30,000 Annually after probation
* Paid Monthly
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Monday-Thursday 9am-7pm Friday 9am-3pm
