Part Time Credit Controller
Description✓Firmin Recruit are an agency working on behalf our established client based in Gravesend, Kent
✓Due to a promotion with the business, my client is recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for part time Monday - Friday
✓My client is also happy to consider someone doing perhaps the hours over more days.
✓My client is a well -established , successful, and forward thinking Chartered Surveyors who have been established for many years
✓The role is to assist property managers in chasing, collecting and controlling rent arrears for a large portfolio of properties.
✓Role: Credit Controller - Part Time
✓Hours: 10am -2 pm [inc.15min break] Monday - Friday.
✓OR
✓9AM - 5.30pm [1 hour lunch] x 2 days + 1 day 9am -1pm [ 15 min break]
✓My client may consider remote working after six months
✓Salary: £25,000 [pro rata]
✓Location: Gravesend Town Centre, short distance from bus and train station
✓The Role:
✓* Chasing arrears by telephone and email and reducing debtor days
✓* Collection of monthly and quarterly commercial & residential rents, service charges and insurance invoices
✓* Liaising with Property Managers for arrears chasing
✓* Paperwork preparation for solicitors for court hearings
✓* Answering telephone queries
✓* Investigating and resolving queries
✓* Reconciling accounts, refunding credit balances
✓* Deal with tenant account queries
✓* First point of contact to answer telephone calls from the card line
✓* Dealing with general correspondence as required
✓* Credit Control
✓Suitable Candidate:
✓* Minimum of two years previous credit control experience
✓* High level of concentration, accuracy and attention to detail
✓* Self-motivated with a methodical and organised approach
✓* Excellent people skills and the ability to effectively communicate
✓* Dependable and flexible as well as possessing the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
✓* Proactive, and able to take responsibility for own work
✓* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
