Part time Maintenance technician

DescriptionOne Property Recruitment have been instructed upon the search for a part-time Maintenance Technician based in Leeds
You would be working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
My client are one of the most prestigious Student Accommodation companies in the country and you will be responsible for the daily upkeep of all the Purpose Built Student Accommodation in the designated region
You will ensure that the properties are maintained to a high standard to give the residents reassurance that health and safety is kept.
Your core duties will consist of:
• Assisting with end of tenancy check outs.
• Processing of reactive maintenance tickets, diagnosing problems quickly, and keeping guests informed via the electronic ticketing system.
• Find and develop good relationships with local contractors.
• Ensure that the properties are maintained to a high standard.
• Engage with guests daily to ensure that resident satisfaction is as high as possible
• Work closely with the Property Manager to manage cost controls as well as profitability through understanding the budgeting, and that financial processes are adhered to.
• Assess, report, and action end of tenancy turnaround maintenance.
This is a really varied role where every day will be different
You will liaise with numerous stakeholders to ensure that you are always providing the best service and keeping the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation in Bristol in top condition.
I am looking for the following skillset/experience:
• At least 2 years’ experience in electrical, plumbing or property maintenance.
• A genuine interest in health and safety and understanding that your role is imperative for keeping students safe in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation.
• Clear understanding of statutory maintenance requirements.
• Access to own tools is desired.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
• IT reporting skills.
