Property Leasing Manager

✓Role: Property Leasing Manager
✓Salary: £36,842
✓Type: 6 Month FTC - 35 Hours a Week.
✓Location: Midlands [East and West]
✓We are excited to be working with one of our leading national charity clients who are looking for a Property Leasing Manager to join their team for a 6-month fixed-term contract
✓The organisation has long standing experience of changing lives, building communities, and reducing crime and helping disadvantaged young people across the country.
✓The role of Property Leasing Manager will see you take responsibility for sourcing properties, leasing arrangements, maintaining relationships with landlords and ensuring properties are sourced at a high standard whilst representing good value for the organisation.
✓Key duties include:
✓Working with the organisation's property owners, investors, and landlords, identify and procure properties that are suitable and in line with the organisations leasing procedures.
✓Ensuring all new properties meet the required standard, conduct surveys, and monitor the quality of maintenance work.
✓Taking responsibility for the ongoing management of property leases, including lease renewals, and maintaining relationships with landlords.
✓Carrying out thorough property inspections alongside the surveying team.
✓Managing the return process ensuring properties are returned in suitable condition.
✓Liaising with various stakeholders to understand the future property requirements and pipeline.
✓Other ad hoc duties as required by senior leadership
✓The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial negotiations and be confident with property lease agreements
✓They will have the ability to conduct property surveys and be able to identify defects or areas of repair
✓They will have a good understanding of property compliance and ability to identify the suitability of properties for service user groups.
✓To fulfil this role, you will have to be geographical mobile in order to visit sites and inspect properties
✓Whilst travel is essential, certain work can be done from home or a regional office.
✓A DBS Check and Full UK Driving license are essential for this role.
