Scheme Manager
Description✓The role
✓As a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager in our outstanding rated Independent Living Service, you’ll be supporting residents to live healthy and happy lives and ensuring the scheme is a safe place to live
✓You’ll enable older people to stay independent with an enthusiastic mindset
✓You’ll support social activities for residents, deliver support plans and work with other professionals to ensure older residents remain independent
✓You’ll also manage all the health & safety compliance within the scheme, including building security, undertaking weekly fire checks and inspections of communal areas, so that residents remain secure and safe.
✓The postholder will be required to travel between schemes in the following South East London areas: Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich & Brockley.
✓What you'll have
✓* You may have worked in supported housing, or housing related support services.
✓* You’ll have knowledge of care & support services, including relevant legislation and good practice.
✓* You’ll be a great communicator and be able to form relationships with a wide range of people, from residents, other agencies, and internal teams to generate effective solutions to problems.
✓* You’ll put residents at the heart of what you do and be focused on delivering excellent services with a ‘can do attitude and approach’.
✓* In this fast paced, varied role you’ll be able to effectively prioritise and manage your time, including being able to travel between sites.
✓* You must be able to walk up and down scheme staircases daily to check stairwells.
✓* A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle is required.
