Description✓Senior Town Planner Job in Newcastle
✓I have a Senior Town Planner job available with a rapidly growing planning consultancy in their office in Newcastle
✓As the successful Senior Town Planner, you'll be tasked with working closely with the Newcastle planning team
✓This position is on a hybrid working basis and offering a competitive salary + £4,000 car allowance + bonus.
✓This planning consultancy operates across the UK with 5 regional offices which are situated in South Wales, London, North West, Yorkshire and the North East
✓Current head count is 30 people with the majority being based in the Cardiff and Leeds office
✓The sectors this consultancy cover are residential, education, retail, defence, energy, leisure and healthcare.
✓Role & Responsibilities
✓- Take a Senior position on all project involved in
✓- Prepare and manager project budgets
✓- Provide advice on infrastructure planning
✓- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
✓- Negotiate, draft, and provide legal instructions to facilitate the preparation of planning agreements and infrastructure funding deeds with industry, agencies, and Councils, as required
✓- Meet company expectations regarding fee earning targets
✓- Optimise new business and cross-selling opportunities
✓- Mentor and support other members of the team.
✓Required Skills & Experience
✓- Chartered RTPI Membership
✓- Relevant planning degree
✓- Previous experience in the private sector
✓- Experience taking the lead on projects
✓- Previous experience mentoring staff.
